Scorned

Scorned 1

“Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned,” spoken by Zara in Act III, Scene VIII in The Mourning Bride by William Congreve (not slick Willy Shakespeare as most people think).

SCORNED

If you’re going to cheat on your lover, don’t get caught. And if you do get caught, you’d better hope your lover isn’t secretly insane. Kevin (Billy Zane, “Titanic”) learns this the hard way when his girlfriend Sadie (AnnaLynne McCord, “Beverly Hills 90210”) discovers that he’s having a scorching affair with her best friend Jennifer (Viva Bianca, “Spartacus: Vengeance”). Now, Sadie has planned a romantic weekend getaway for just the three of them, complete with terror, torture and twisted psychosexual games.

The two cheaters are held captive by a psychotic Sadie who uses torture to “cure” them of their wicked ways. The trap is set. The party has begun. And tonight, hell hath no fury like a woman SCORNED.

Written and directed by Mark Jones (“Leprechaun” and “Triloquist”) and shot on location in Portsmouth, Ohio (hometown of Creative Network Studios Founder/CEO Charles Ison) this edge-of-your-seat thriller will have the faithful rooting for the bad girl and cheaters putting a lock on their cell phones.  This is Horse Head Pictures first horse out of the gate, with Martin Sprock and Charles Ison serving as two of the movies Executive Producers.  Our own Nathan Wheeler has a cameo appearance as he wheels the deranged diva into the awaiting ambulance.  In that same scene and within earshot of the scorned femme fatale EP Martin Sprock, who plays the role of local detective, can be heard offering his condolences, securing Sadie’s confidence that she has pulled off the perfect murders.
